“Where thousands save millions.”
Welcome to St.Casimir’s Savings Bank, serving the eastern regions of Baltimore City and Baltimore and Harford Counties for 100 years. In an era that has seen banking become increasingly consolidated and corporate, St. Casimir’s remains a community institution, owned by its customers and staffed by friendly and knowledgeable professionals who live in the neighborhoods they serve.
Since 1911, our depositors have enjoyed the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their money is safe and secure in a truly local establishment. And for those individuals seeking home or business loans, they’ve discovered that St. Casimir’s unbroken tradition of financial stability ensures their access to competitive rates and products. In fact, throughout its 100 years of operation, St. Casimir’s has been profitable every single year.
But most importantly, our philosophy is not a strictly by-the-numbers approach. We’re proud of the fact that, over the years, thousands of our customers have purchased homes or established successful businesses right here in our community thanks to their relationship with St. Casimir’s. Our customers are our neighbors and our friends, and we look forward to serving you and making you part of our extended family.

Notice of Change in Temporary FDIC Insurance Coverage for Transaction Accounts
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured in full by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation from December 31, 2010, through December 31,2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to depositors under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional checking account or demand deposit account on which the insured depository institution pays no interest. It also includes Interest On Lawyers Trust Accounts ("IOLTAs"). It does not include other accounts, such as traditional checking or demand deposit accounts that may earn interest, NOW accounts, and money-market deposit accounts. For more information about temporary FDIC insurance coverage of transaction accounts, visit www.fdic.gov.

America Saves Week is February 21-28 "Money saved by consumers provides a stable source of funding for investments in the economy that benefit all Americans," said FDIC Chairman, Sheila Bair. "In fact, a country with robust savings generally has more capital to fund investments and support economic growth over the long-term. As demonstrated recently, it is harmful to an economy when consumers spend beyond their means, financed by debt that they cannot afford to repay."
